Manager of International Programs
Manage operations of international projects and programs, manage and support the coordination and collaboration of international staff and consultants on country-specific project work; prepare and implement country program proposals, strategies, work plans and assessments including project development, monitoring and evaluation, business development initiatives, including submitting proposals and engage in building relations with partners, clients and stakeholders. Develop the International Programs Operations and Marketing Plan and Budget for review and approval; and manage International Programs in a manner that complies with the budget. Recommend new programs, or changes in existing programs as needed, to ensure the fulfillment of the organization’s Strategic Plan. Effectively manage subordinates to ensure accurate and timely execution of the organization’s international programs plan; achieve local accountability. Recruit, recommend for hire, evaluate, recommend pay levels, train, develop, support, recommend discipline up to and including termination of employment, and otherwise support subordinates in a manner that is in accord with the programs plan.
Requirements
Master’s in business admin, economics, finance or equivalent; 1 year of international project or operational and management experience with/in Eastern European businesses. Recent international travel experience in Eastern Europe. Knowledge of an Eastern European language is a plus. Very strong written, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
